Biography
Born in 1962 in Tacheng, Gulnara is one of the few female Aken Aytes masters. She began performing at local festivals at age fifteen and quickly gained recognition for her quick wit and poetic improvisation skills. She has won multiple Aken Aytes competitions and actively teaches young performers.
